Blunt Ashes

This piece was inspired by Nas. My last uploaded deviation was also inspired by Nas... hmm?

This piece was something Ive been wanting to do for a while, I used a load of new techniques aswell as the usual 'typical' effects!

This was also a great piece for me to use a photo of one of my friends. I told her that I would use her in an artwork, and this one just seemed to fit the bill!
So this ones for you Jas

I submitted this under abstract as there are a few ideas I wanted to get across in this pieces. I basically wanted to get across the message/concept of the 'blunt ashes'.
I wanted the whole flow of the piece to lead your eyes to the bottom of the piece, where the main, dark bits finish. This was to give the suggestion of 'blunt ahses' falling into the 'ash tray'.
